I’ll make this as short and as sweet as possible (promise!). Please review this page in its entirety so you can have the best experience possible with Betty Lu Paperie. Placing an order confirms that you have read and agree to the terms and conditions of Betty Lu, Inc., outlined below. Thank you for your understanding.
Collections from Betty Lu Paperie are semi-custom. All wording can be fully personalized with your wedding details and artwork colors can be changed for an added fee. I do not offer any customizations beyond custom artwork colors and wording. The design layout remains the same as shown.
All designs created by Betty Lu Paperie are owned by Betty Lu Paperie. The artwork included in the stationery designs that Betty Lu Paperie has created cannot be used for any other project by the bride, groom, parents of the couple, or any third party other than Betty Lu Paperie.
errors and typos
Betty Lu, Inc., will in no event be responsible for errors approved by clients. If there is a typo, I offer reprints at a reduced rate. However, if you receive an incorrect print that does not match the proofs you approved, I will take full responsibility and provide complimentary reprints.
When you are ready to approve proofs, I will email you a link to an Approval to Print form so production can begin.
After the Approval to Print form is signed and all remaining balances are paid, printing begins the next business day.
For most items, allow 5 full business days for printing and your order ships afterward. Letterpress and foil printing as well as wax seals take 15 full business days to produce and ship afterward. Lined envelopes take 8 business days to produce and ship afterward.
shipping and delivery
All stationery ships via FedEx Ground. You will receive an email with tracking information as soon as it ships. Expedited shipping is available upon request for an added fee. Orders to Hawaii and Alaska ship via regular USPS mail. (FedEx shipping available for an added fee.)
Once your order is shipped, Betty Lu Paperie is not held responsible for damages, loss, delivery delays, or any other shipping issues under any circumstances. If your package is delayed, damaged, lost, or if you have any other concerns regarding the delivery of your package, please contact FedEx immediately.
assembly and mailing wedding invitations
Invitations arrive unassembled. Full assembly is required.
When mailing invitations, keep in mind that Betty Lu Paperie cannot be held responsible for any mailed items that are damaged, arrive open on delivery, or marked “return to sender” by USPS, as they are an independent third party. Hand canceling is required for wax seals and bulky envelopes, i.e. suites with belly bands, lined envelopes and/or more than three detail cards. This prevents bulky invitations from being mangled/torn in the sorting machine.
returns and cancellations
Due to the custom nature of stationery, refunds are not available. To cancel, please contact me within 24 hours of purchase. After this time, there is a 25% cancellation fee. Cancellation is only available to those who have not received a proof, print or any other format of stationery. Betty Lu, Inc. cannot offer returns, refunds or exchanges in the event of cancellations or event changes.
